Oh, is your heart troubled?/ Oh, why can't we be together?/ Will it take forever..for you to realize how much this pains me to say..

We are no longer kids playing in the backyard on the swings/ We're much older, uglier, more violent beings./ But it doesn't always have to be that way/ That all could change/all our hurt could dissipate /by the decisions we make.

And the chances we take/like dancing to death/you hear the ammunition in the music/ so loud/ we all start to lose it/ but you planned it, only you knew it. Damn you, you knew it//

But why did it have to be that way/You made me lose the words to say/And this is not a game/ that none of us wants to play.

Enchant me with your smile, bless me with your kiss or a just hug will do. Let me taste the sugar from the words you say. Tell me that everything will be ok. Let’s dance, let’s sing. Sometimes I wonder who I'm talking to. It feels like I'm talking to a brick wall
but the wall has blue eyes and sleek brown hair and an accent that I can't resist.
Sometimes I wonder where my love is going. It feels like it's going nowhere
but the place is somewhere up north in a huge city about 5,000 miles away.

New Year Resolution

This year was such a ride.
There were times when I wanted to die.
I got away with so many lies
