The Beautiful Woman

This poem is dedicated to my loving friend, Edith "DeDee" K. Johnson. I
love you, I miss you. Lei e` persona bella.

I didn't know how much love surrounded me.

The way she spoiled me tenderly.

Her eyes a vivid blue.

The fluent German accent is true.

Her loving ways are in my heart.

Her hugs are wide like the sky.

Her skin as gentle as the rain cries.

Her spirit flows through me.

It never dies.

The beautiful woman is so calm.

She retells the time she held me in her arms.

The dreams she's left for me are in my palm.

Such a beautiful woman is never gone.
